Relaxing with Uncertainty & Change

A Retreat to the Beautiful Costa Rican Coast
Casa Verano Eterno
Nosara, Costa Rica
January 30 - February 6, 2027

We are living in a time of profound uncertainty and change — and change can feel unsettling, even scary. We are constantly being asked to grow, to shed old roles, and to step more fully into who we are becoming.

This retreat is an invitation to meet that uncertainty with curiosity rather than fear. Together, Nicole and Kyle will guide you through practices designed to soften the nervous system, strengthen your resilience, and reconnect you with a deep sense of inner stability — no matter what is shifting around you.

Through yoga, breathwork, self-inquiry, and the healing power of nature, we'll create space to slow down, remember what it feels like to be fully alive — and return home feeling grounded, inspired, and renewed.

This is your permission to pause. To reset. To return to you.

A Day on Retreat in Nosara

A Sample Itinerary

The Setting

Where you'll stay.

Casa Verano Eterno — a luxury jungle compound nestled within the Guiones Beach Club, the only gated community in Playa Guiones adjacent to the beach. Complete privacy, security, and an atmosphere of effortless tropical ease. A private pathway leads you to the beach, just a five-minute walk from your door.

The Practice

Twice a day, on the mat.

Each day opens and closes with yoga. Mornings begin with a grounding, awakening practice; evenings melt into slow, restorative yin. Across the week the container opens wider still — a guided breathwork journey that carries you deeper into the body, and time with a visiting energy healer for those drawn to it. Lifelong practitioner or first-timer, Nicole meets you exactly where you are.

The Table

Fresh, local, and made for you.

A private chef cooks for the house twice a day — a late-morning brunch and a gathered dinner — built entirely around what's fresh and local. Sun-ripened tropical fruit, vegetables from nearby soil, bright and simple flavors, and food that's as nourishing as it is beautiful. Vegetarian and gluten-free aren't afterthoughts here; they're woven through the whole table. You'll eat the way this coast eats — simply, generously, and in full color.

Explore

The days are yours.

Afternoons open up. Most days invite you to wander — into the small, sun-warmed town of Nosara, through its cafés and little shops, or down to Playa Guiones to swim, walk, and stay for the sunset. When you want more, there's horseback riding along the shore and a visit to a nearby wildlife preserve. Nothing is required. The hours are yours to fill — or beautifully not.

Nicole

Yoga & Meditation

Nicole draws from many styles to guide classes that are slow, deep, and safe, accessible to students of all levels — helping students balance their nervous system, cultivate presence, and move with mindful awareness. Strongly influenced by the Buddhist practices of Vipassana and Metta meditation, she invites students to practice with compassionate awareness. Practicing Hatha yoga since 1996, she leads wellness retreats in Northern California and internationally several times a year, weaving together yoga, meditation, and mindful living practices to support transformation and connection. For her, yoga's deepest gift is connection to our true nature: coming home to the body, connecting to the heart, and resting in a place of peace and presence.
